Carrageenan is added to coffee creamer to help “stabilize” it in hot liquid, keeping it from separating out and breaking down. I am trying to lower my cholesterol and thinking of using a substitute for heavy whipping cream. Only use pure vanilla extract in this recipe for the best flavor!
