Coffee Cake Recipes With Sour Cream
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt;
Coffee cake recipes with sour cream. 1ΒΌ cups sour cream, at room temperature. In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add the flour mixture alternating with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Add flour, baking powder, pineapple juice, crushed pineapple and sour cream. Beat in the eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Beat with a mixer at medium speed for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Add 1/2 batter to pan. In a bowl, whisk together both flours, baking powder and salt. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat both sugars and butter until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Spread 1/2 of batter in the prepared pan. Mix walnuts, 1/2 cup sugar, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture and beat until combined.
Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl and make sure the batter is completely combined (photo 4). My main complaint with coffee cake is that there is usually too much cake, not enough streusel. Add flour, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt;
Cream the butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment for 4 to 5 minutes, until light. Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the remaining flour and baking powder and mix until combined.
